Map of ACTAsia’s automated email journeys: welcome, post-donation, stewardship and win-back

The problem

A four-person team with no agency budget. Email series that never ran end to end. Analytics that were tracked but never reported.

What I did

  • Built an AI workflow that produces SEO-optimised, publish-ready blog articles in ACTAsia’s voice, currently two a week.
  • Rebuilt email into five automated Mailchimp journeys: welcome, post-donation, win-back, monthly stewardship and one-time-to-monthly conversion.
  • Automated reporting from Google Analytics into a monthly insight report.
  • Set up a monthly report on five competitors across the top five social platforms.
  • Shared prompt templates, Claude skills and short training sessions so the whole team could use them.
  • Kept a human check on every output: AI writes the first draft, a person verifies it, and we are careful about what data goes into public tools.

Results

  • Automated journey open rates up from 13% to 17%.
  • Email reach grown 3x and total opens 2x, with delivery at 99.6% and unsubscribes at 0.19%.
  • Early SEO and AI-search results: page-one rankings on targeted long-tail terms and measurable AI-search traffic.
  • Routine web tasks brought in-house.
